The Galactic Credit, also referred to as a credit and abbreviated to cred is the official universal currency of the Orion Forum and its members. It is a digital-based currency used by nearly all galactic nations.
The credit has been in circulation since the beginning of the Orion Forum. From its inception, the credit is managed and circulated by the Central Galactic Bank and distributed by various banking clans notably the Solaris Treasury.

The Galactic Credit is a digital currency and is used to purchase and sell items via debit and credit cards and chips. Various third party corporations have implemented ways of purchase via biometrics such as scanning a thumb. Coins and bills have been implemented for use in poorer nations that do not have the ability to implement the digital system.
